Jack B. Parson Ready Mix Recognized for Involvement in Award Winning Training Video

In a recent press release from the NRMCA, Jack B. Parson Ready Mix was recognized for its involvement in the Jobsite Chute Rinse-Off video. The video received the 2018 Communicator Distinction Award by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA). The videographer on the project was Thunder Bay Productions. The video was filmed at Jack B. Parson’s Draper, Utah location.
According to the press release, “Jobsite Chute Rinse-off was created at the direction of NRMCA’s Operations and Compliance Division. The videographer on the project was Thunder Bay Productions and it was filmed at NRMCA Producer member Jack B. Parson, a CRH Company, in Draper, UT. The video instructs mixer drivers about the various methods to get their chutes clean while not violating environmental regulations. It also discusses the driver’s responsibility to adapt to each jobsite’s requirements and when to notify his or her company if there is a problem. Finally, the lesson points out that chute rinse-off plays a role in fleet maintenance as well as being a safety factor since correctly rinsing a chute prevents debris from hitting other vehicles as the mixer returns to the plant.”
