Salt Lake City, UTAH—April 27, 2016—The National Ready Mixed Concrete Association (NRMCA) has selected Paul Chipman of Jack B. Parson Companies (JBP) as the 2015 NRMCA Ready Mixed Concrete Delivery Professional Driver of the Year. A panel of judges from the ready mixed concrete industry selected Chipman as a runner-up from a large group of impressive applicants from across the United States.

Chipman was honored for his career achievements, safety record, professionalism, driving competency and customer service skills at the NRMCA’s Annual Convention on April 12th in San Diego, California.

In a nomination letter addressed to the NRMCA, JBP President Bob Rowberry states, “In all the years Paul has driven, he has been accident-free. Paul has been a trainer for most of the drivers in the Salt Lake valley. Paul goes out of his way to help new drivers become better and our customers love him as well. The best part about Paul is his positive attitude which radiates through his team and influences everyone that he comes in contact with.”

Rowberry commends Chipman for his dedication to the company and states that Paul has never taken an unscheduled day off work. Rowberry estimates that Chipman has delivered well over 190,000 cubic yards of concrete with zero vehicle accidents or rejected loads.

“Paul, at 74 years of age, is not only the Best Ready Mix Driver, but he is a great Humanitarian,” says Rowberry, “We are truly fortunate to have him as a member of our team.”
