Staker Parson Materials & Construction, a CRH Co., hosted the first round of students attending the Utah Diesel Technician Pathways (UDTP) program at Davis Technical College in northern Utah in February. “It’s great to be able to bring the students to our shop and see their eyes just light up with excitement,” Barker said. “We were able to show them some of our equipment and the normal repairs we make.”

Staker Parson is one of many local companies involved in the UDTP program, which started in January. The goal is to improve the quality of technicians in the company and throughout the industry.

“With all the UDTP partners involved, students have the chance to experience, first-hand, what it’s like to work in different businesses with different equipment,” Allen said.” – Link to Article
