Staker Parson Companies Recognized for Safety Excellence and Innovation by AGC

Staker Parson Companies was recently recognized at the Associated General Contractors (AGC) STEP Awards for its outstanding achievements in safety and innovation over the past year. 

Among those honored, Kyle Meili, Field Safety Specialist at Jack B. Parson Ready Mix Concrete (JBP), was highlighted for his leadership and meaningful contributions to the Peer-to-Peer Safety Program. Through his efforts, the program has been strengthened by fostering greater communication, mentorship and accountability across teams. 

Safety excellence continues to be a defining standard across Staker Parson Companies. Western Rock Products, Hales Sand & Gravel, Nielson Construction & Materials, Reynolds Excavation, Demolition & Utilities, Jack B. Parson Ready Mix Concrete and Staker Parson Materials & Construction have each earned the AGC Platinum 3-Star Safety Award, the highest recognition for safety performance in the industry. This distinction reflects a shared commitment to operational discipline, continuous improvement and the protection of employees, partners and communities. 

In addition, Staker Parson received the AGC STEP Award, recognizing its dedication to implementing world-class safety processes and maintaining a proactive approach to risk reduction. 

The region’s commitment to workplace safety was further recognized with the Utah Labor Commission Workplace Safety Award, honoring efforts to create safer job sites, reduce incidents and invest in a strong safety training culture.
