Nielson Construction & Materials crews have been working hard constructing the new elementary school in Ferron Utah. The Ferron Elementary School building consists of 10 standard classrooms, 2 kindergarten classrooms, 1 preschool classroom, a gymnasium, a media center, and a kitchen with a lunchroom. The exterior will include landscaping, grass playfields, and three separate fenced playground areas.

Nielson Construction & Materials provided 5,000 tons of fill material and roadbase and 1,500 tons of asphalt to build the parking lot and roads. This new facility is an exciting addition to the town of Ferron and will be the heart of the small community it serves. Construction is anticipated to be complete this fall.
