The project was on SR-39 on the east side of Monte Cristo to Woodruff. Crews started with several soft spot repairs and had to mill and pave before A-Core could pre-grind the surface. The team overlaid 16,150 tons of HMA just short of 12 miles at 1.5” deep while Rower Construction replaced a cattle guard in the middle of the project. Our chip seal crew chipped the entire 12 miles. AAA Barricade did all our traffic control with a pilot car operation.
