US-91; North Smithfield to Idaho

The project is located on US-91 in the north end of Cache Valley, from Smithfield, Utah, to the Idaho border, approximately 10.64 miles. Crews are performing lane leveling and providing a paved turnout for snowplows to safety turnaround at the Idaho border. In addition, crews will apply approximately 490,000 square yards of Utah Department of Travel (UDOT) Type 2 chip seal to the roadway surface along with new pavement markings. The project duration is 40 days.
