Staker Parson at Brigham City Peach Days
September 15, 2024
Staker Parson Materials & Construction was proud to be at the 2024 Peach Days festival in Brigham City, UT, with our sandbox trailer and booth featuring a PLINKO game with prizes.
Over 23 volunteers interacted with attendees, answered questions about the company and available products, helped manage the sandbox trailer and gave out promotional items. Long-time volunteer Cindy Bowcut, who has been part of Peach Days since 2001, took on the responsibility of coordinating the booth volunteers and setting up the booth with the help of other employees.
“My favorite part of Peach Days is just being able to represent the company and be involved in the community in which I live, and work in. I love the interaction with people and getting to talk about our company,” Bowcut shared. For her, a highlight of the event is seeing the joy on children’s faces as they play in the sandbox, a feature that has become a staple of the booth.
Shannon Mickles, another dedicated volunteer, has been involved for the past eight years. She looks forward to Peach Days every year, not only for the chance to interact with the community but also to hear stories from long-time residents about their experiences with Staker Parson’s tenured and retired employees. “Everyone seems to have a story about a great experience they have had with us over the years,” Mickles commented.
Staker Parson’s participation in Peach Days highlighted the company’s commitment to community involvement. The booth not only provided family fun, but also served as a place where community members could learn more about our company.
