Walking Path Installation Promotes Personal Wellness

May 8, 2024

Staker Parson Materials and Construction’s safety initiative See Stop Do Day inspired the installation of a new walking path at the Ogden, UT office. The inspiration came after local leadership observed office employees walking around the office grounds and around the busy parking lot during their breaks. By implementing a designated walking path, it now allows employees to enjoy their breaks in a safe environment, outside, and away from vehicle traffic.

This walking path is 1,000 feet long, equating to five laps around the path, providing nearly one mile of exercise that employees can get during the day.

Keri Mendoza, the Billing Lead at Staker Parson Materials & Construction, said, “Walking is great for physical health as well as mental health. I am going to encourage the team to take breaks and to get out and walk.”

Thank you to our leadership who recognize the importance of mental health and overall wellness. We are grateful for our beautiful walking path!
