Western Rock Products recently completed the I-15, SR 20 to South Beaver, UT project! Work activities included placing over 71,000 tons of SMA asphalt on over 55 miles of roadway surface. This included resurfacing a northbound and southbound climbing lane. This project began in the Spring of 2023 and was completed in October 2023.

Valued at $8.1M, this 15-mile highway rehabilitation project will provide safer mobility for those traveling through the area by incorporating an intermittent climbing lane and updating the roadway surface.
Western Rock Products is currently working on the S.R. 14; S.R. 148 to Mammoth Creek Road & MP 36.8 to U.S. 89 project. Located in both Iron and Kane counties, this project began in early June and will improve the overall smoothness and longevity of the roadway. Improvements include removing and replacing the existing asphalt and incorporating new guard rails, culverts, signs, delineators, and striping.
The Old Highway 91 Pavement Rehabilitation Project was located in Hurricane City’s high-profile industrial park, an area that serves national brands such as Walmart Distribution, FedEx Ground, and Sinclair Oil. Western Rock Products provided services to improve the 2.4-mile corridor, which included a full-depth reclamation (FDR), mill & overlay, and roadway widening.
Western Rock Products used fines material and blending techniques to meet the requirements of the BMX track owner to pave the steep banking turns with HMA. The company utilized 280 tons of Hot Mix Asphalt and around 500 tons of fines materials to accomplish this project.
