Huntsman V is an addition to the existing Huntsman Cancer Hospital.   The project sits high on the East bench of Salt Lake City and the University of Utah campus.   The major scope is to build a temporary access road at one of the busiest intersections in Salt Lake.  Mass excavate and blasting of hard rock, bench to allow the shoring contract to shore up a 70-foot vertical face to get the building to the existing roadway access.   The project required the rerouting of existing utilities and installed new sewer, storm drain, and water.  Reynolds excavated the structural package.  Staker Parson paved the temporary road and patching existing areas.
